TEDDY
Greeter
Teddy is our latest office recruit, learning basic training and socialising
for Mobility Dogs Assistance Trust
He is a pure bred Golden Retriever, born on Christmas Day 2020.
He will be with us for 12-15 months before undertaking advanced training.
He has enthusiastically adopted the role of official greeter to visitors to the office, and he can be seen in the church and around town wearing his distinctive green service dog jacket.
ASSOCIATE CLERGY
There are 8 Anglican clergy who associate themselves with St Matthew’s
while undertaking other roles, or being “retired”.
DEACONS
We have one permanent deacon, Wilf Holt, whose role is to provide a link from our Sunday worship to work and ministry in God’s world. Wilf works at the City Mission.
Amanda Mark is a transitional deacon who is also the Chancellor of the Diocese, and works in the health system.
PRIESTS
The following take part in leadership of worship and weddings:
Linda Murphy works at the City Mission.
Susan Adams provides supervision, spiritual direction, "theological" conversations.
Allanah Church is a psychotherapist.
Diana Rattray offers supervision and is a police chaplain.
OTHERS on the team are:
George Armstrong and Jean Brookes are “retired” but remain active in writing and prayer.
